This all-levels workshop uses specialized soft body rollers and small MELT Hand and Foot Treatment Balls to simulate the results of hands on bodywork. FREE Summer Intensive & Teacher Training Program Info Sessions
With Nancy Candea
This year along with a 200 Hour Teacher Training, we are also offering a Yoga Intensive. This comprehesive 12 day Intensive is for anyone who wants to go deeper into their yoga practice. You will learn basic anatomy, yoga pose alignment, delve into yoga philosophy and build a personal yoga, prananyama and meditation practice.
Those wishing to become certified Yoga Instructors can continue on for 6 months of teaching methodology and studies and will be eligible to become Registered yoga Teachers (RYTs).
Join the director of the training, Nancy, for this informal session and get any and all of your questions answered. We are offering 2 free inforamtion sessions for you to learn more about these programs. Anyone attending the session can take Nancy's earlier, 4:30pm class for free.

Yoga 101: Ultimate Beginner Yoga
A 6 Week Series With Jamie Discher
Designed for students brand new to yoga, this six-week series will cover the fundamentals of yoga- everything from alignment basics, to class etiquette and what to wear. For the absolute beginner, this series will cover many of the 'standard' yoga poses, introduce the basics of developing a personal yoga practice, and offer a safe place to learn and explore.

Yoga Core Strength Workshop

By energizing the core you build strength, confidence and alignment that leads to better posture and form. this workshop emphasizes yoga poses that improve power, stabilization and spinal support, not to mention tones the belly area for a flatter and tightened mid-section!
Through simple micro movements and focused awareness we will "awaken" deep core suport, and then continue with a strengthening practice which will target and fortify that connection

MELT 2 Day Intensive for Athletic Performance

In this 4 hour workshop you will learn some basic MELT moves, as well as more advanced techniques not featured in the MELT book. This workshop is IDEAL for the experienced MELTer, as well as for people who work out or play sports. Learn techniques to help you work out more effectively, with less pain afterwards. Acquire better hip, shoulder and core stability with MELT Strength moves.

Beginner Arm Balance & Inversion Workshkop

Do you want to float and fly with grace, but can't get your feet off the ground? Come learn the foundations and tap into your inner lift as we approach going upside down. Arm balances and inversions are empowering and can be therapeutic. Each pose will be broken down and made accessible to all. In this 4 hour workshop you will learn moves from the best selling book, The MELT Method, plus some intermediate MELT moves not featured in the book. this workshop is IDEAL for people dealing with chronic aches, tension, stress or pain. Discover simple self-treatments you can do at home to get active again and feel healthy, and pain-free for life.
Please note that this class is not suitable for people struggling with Fibromyalgia, in these cases private, shorter MELT sessions will ensure an already fragile nervous systems is not overwhelmed.
