Building Your Pranayama & Meditation Practice
An 8 Week ONLINE Course With Nancy Candea, CYT
This 8 week Online Class is designed to help you build a pranayama (breathwork) and meditation practice. Class will meet online on Tuesdays at 6am. The recorded classes will also be emailed to all participants so you can take the class at a later time that suits you better if you prefer.
Learn to logically build your capacity for yoga breath work and meditation in the comfort of your own home! We will also cover some of the common obstacles people encounter such as:
• I am very busy, do I have to practice for a whole hour to get the benefits?
• What do I do if I can’t focus my mind?
• When doing breathing exercises I feel anxious, should I stop or work through it?

Daily practice – even 10 minutes - of the pranayama and meditation skills covered each week will enhance the practitioner’s experience.
Yoga teachers will learn to logically sequence these yogic practices for their classes and private clients.

Yoga 101: Ultimate Beginner Yoga
A 6 Week Series With Jamie Discher
Designed for students brand new to yoga this six-week series will cover the fundamentals of yoga- verything from alignment basics, to class etiquette and what to wear,. For the absolute beginner, this series will cover many of the 'standard' yoga poses, introduce the basics of developing a personal yoga practice, and offer a safe place to learn and explore.

Earth Gong Bath

Join Marco for a 1 hr immersion in the sacred and healing sound of an Earth Gong. The Earth Gong is a rare and magnificent instrument, a large, 38” gong that is tuned to the vibration of the primordial AUM, the Universal Chord, the source of all vibrations, and to the fundamental vibration of Planet Earth as she revolves around the Sun. During a gong bath, listeners typically experience a sense of connectedness and peace as the sacred sound of the gong clears blockages and restores the free flow of vital energy throughout the body

MELT 4 Week Beginner Series
With Hilary Bilkis
Join MELT Instructor Hilary Bilkis to learn simple self-care techniques you can use every day, to make your body feel better. This all-levels class will use specialized soft body rollers and small MELT Hand and Foot Balls. You will learn techniques to release stuck stress from your entire body.
* Decompress your neck and low back.
* Relieve shoulder and upper back tension.
* Release tightness in your legs.
* Bring balance back to your nervous system.
* Your will body function with greater ease.
* Remain active, healthy, and pain-free for life!

Drink water before class. Bring a liter of water and a yoga mat.
Rollers and balls provided for class use. If you own the MELT products, please bring them with you.

Take MELT Classes on a drop in basis. If you have taken a MELT workshop or a series and still feel like you have not mastered the techniques, drop in for a few classes to refresh your skills. If you have never experienced MELT, come and try some classes. Join MELT Instructor Hilary Bilkis to learn simple self-care techniques you can use every day, to help your body feel better.
* Learn to identify stuck stress in your body.
* Gain better balance.
* Safely decompress your neck and low back.
* Relieve shoulder and upper back tension.
* Release pain and tightness in your legs.
* Sleep better
* De-Stress your nervous system.

Classes will run for 4 weeks and you come to as many or few as you would like. Class size is limited. You must SIGN UP in advnace for classes online (or email Claire@PurpleOmYoga.com for help).. Cancel online 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting the class.
Suitable for those who have attended MELT before but are looking to master certain techniques and those who are new to MELT.
